Starting off strong with the Christkindlemarkt; potentially the busiest of them all, since it's right in the city center! Afternoons or early evening for a visit could be a better time for someone who wants to avoid the rush.
Tip: There will be Krampuslauf on Sunday, December 8, from 15 to 17:00 with the route being from Sendlinger Str. via Rosental, Viktualienmarkt to the Old Town Hall.
It can be scary for kids, so keep that in mind!
