How to get 25% off your Fahrradanhänger (Bike Trailers) or Electric Bikes

If you’ve spent time browsing a Fahrradanhänger (bike trailer) or an electric bike/car, you know how expensive they can be! But did you know that there’s a government program that allows you to get 25% off when you purchase ANY electric bike or car? I know, I was also blown away too.

The city of Munich offers a funding program for climate-neutral drives. This funding program supports cargo bikes, bicycle trailers, electric vehicles, charging infrastructure and consulting services.

So here’s all you need to do:

1. Register at https://foerderung.muenchen.de/Startpage.do
2. Submit a new application for a bike trailer / other green initiative
3. Once the application is approved (It usually takes 3-5 weeks), buy the product you applied for.
4. After the item is delivered, upload the receipt and ID to the portal and receive the expected funding!
