Had lunch at Señor Pastor this week and if you've been craving proper Mexican food in Munich, this one's worth keeping in mind. It's a food truck on Nibelungenstraße doing tacos, quesadillas, burritos and more.
What to order
We had the tacos and the Birria soup – both delicious – and a friend had the vegetarian burrito, which she loved too. There are both vegetarian and vegan options on the menu, so it works even if not everyone in your group eats meat. If you like things spicy, ask for the real Mexican hot sauces they keep on the side.
A few things to know before you go
- 💶 Cash only for now.
- 🪑 Two standing tables outside, right next to an Edeka – a shaded, pleasant enough spot to eat.
- 🍉 Real Mexican hot sauces available on the side if you like spice.
- 💰 Rough pricing: tacos from about €4, quesadillas from about €11.50, burritos from about €10.60 – check the menu board on the day, since food truck pricing can shift.
Good to know
- 📍 Nibelungenstraße 32, 80639 München (Neuhausen).
- 🚗 Rotkreuzplatz (U1/U7, trams 12/16/17, buses 53/62/63) is the nearest transit hub; bus 62 also stops at Winthirplatz, a bit closer – check a map for the shortest walk from the truck's usual spot.
- 🕐 Tuesday–Saturday, 11:30–20:00 – worth confirming current hours before visiting, as food truck schedules can change.
- 🥗 Vegetarian and vegan options available.
